Summer Reading

Kids Summer Reading Program starts June 20!

How do I sign up for the Summer Reading Program?  Request a parking lot pick up of a Summer Reading Packet!  There are two age groups: Infants – two years old, and ages 3 and up

You can request your packet by coming to the library and calling us: 725-1727 and we will bring it out to you!  Each packet will have a book, a bookmark, and all the information you will need.  You can choose what type of book you want: Picture book (example: Knuffle Bunny), Early Reader (example: Frog & Toad), Early Chapter (example: Notebook of Doom or Owl Diaries), or Chapter (example: The Girl Who Drank the Moon or Diary of a Wimpy Kid).  Please note, book titles are examples – you will end up with a book similar in type! If you request an infant/toddler Summer Reading Program you will receive a board book with your packet.

When can I pick up my packet? Any time we are doing parking lot pickup (Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm and Saturday 9 am – 1 pm) June 20 or later.

Is there going to be an extended Summer Reading Program? Yes!  Extended hours will be tracked through our new online Beanstack program!  Click HERE to register for our extended reading through Beanstack starting July 2!
