Teens Escape Room in the Library
Become a code cracker, enigma breaker and cryptanalyst to solve escape room stations and solve mysteries by deciphering hidden messages in images, fake documents, invisible ink pages, and scrambled alphabets. Use special tools to unlock treasure boxes. Sign up to take part in Escape Room at TPL.

Familly Movie Matinee: A Minecraft Movie
Four misfits are suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into the Overworld: a bizarre, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination. Four teenagers in detention discover an old video console with a game they’ve never heard of. When they decide to play, they are immediately sucked into the jungle world of Jumanji in the bodies of their avatars. Storyteller Catharine Cary
AIR CAKE and other summery occupations is nine frolicky stories about three intrepid children on the summer beaches of Southwest France, on the other side of the Atlantic from fabulous Maine. AIR CAKE and other summery occupations is a live performance set to improvised music and can be between 30 to 60 minutes long. AIR CAKE is geared to all ages, but particularly adapted to children ages 7 to 12.

Level Up Retro Movie Night: TBA
Join us for our second movie in the summer series of retro video game themed movies. We'll be showing Wargames (1983). High school student David Lightman (Matthew Broderick) unwittingly hacks into a military supercomputer while searching for new video games. After starting a game of Global Thermonuclear War, Lightman leads the supercomputer to activate the nation's nuclear arsenal in response to his simulated threat, the Soviet Union. Once the clueless hacker comes to his senses, Lightman, with help from his girlfriend (Ally Sheedy), must find a way to alert the authorities to stop the onset of World War III. Rated PG.
