    At each themed Storytime we sing songs, dance, and play instruments to a guitar accompaniment, participate in action rhymes, and of course, read stories! Storytime lasts approximately 45 - 60 minutes and is for preschool children ages 3-5. Often followed by an art project!

    Baby & Me

    Baby & Me gives your child the opportunity to hear lots of language and music while you spend time bonding together! We sing songs, participate in action rhymes, and share a board book! Program lasts about 15 -20 minutes, and is for babies ages birth up to 23 months.

    Music & Rhyme Time for Twos

    At each Music & Rhyme Time for Twos, we sing songs, dance and play instruments to a guitar accompaniment, participate in action rhymes, and read one short story. Each lively and fun session lasts about 20-40 minutes and is designed for two-year-olds and their grownup!

    Parent/Child Workshop

    Join children’s librarian Mariah Sewall and community professionals from local agencies for a fun and interactive playtime in a room full of toys! The four-week Parent/Child Workshop brings together children ages birth-5 and caregivers in a playful and interactive setting. During the workshop, caregivers and children spend quality time together playing and participating in art or sensory exploration. Professionals from local agencies will be on hand to informally chat about topics such as nutrition, play, child development, fitness, behavior, speech, and hearing. The program emphasizes and supports the role of parents as first teachers, facilitates early intervention, and promotes healthy child development and literacy through modeling and referrals to community resources (plus it’s really fun!!) Ages birth – 5. Registration required.

    Young Critics

    Young Critics is an ongoing book discussion group for kids in grades 4 and 5. We meet every month from October to May at the library for great books, great conversation and a pizza dinner! Must be registered to attend!

    Film After Feast: The Incredibles 2

    Helen is called on to help bring Supers back, and Bob must juggle the daily heroics of home life. But when a new villain arises with a sinister plot, the Parrs meet the challenge together! Run Time: 2 hours. Rated PG for action sequences and some brief mild language. Recommended ages 8 and up, but all are welcome. Bring pillows and blankets for extra coziness – popcorn will be served.
