    Joy, the licensed therapy greyhound, and her caretaker, Jeanette will be at the library on Tuesdays at 1:30 pm for the month of July! Come practice your
    reading by reading to Joy and get some dog snuggles! All ages. Sign-up is
    required for 15-minute blocks of time.

    Preschool Storytime

    At each themed Storytime we sing songs, dance, and play instruments to a guitar accompaniment, participate in action rhymes, and of course, read stories! Storytime lasts approximately 45 - 60 minutes and is for preschool children ages 3-5. Often followed by an art project!

    Baby & Me gives your child the opportunity to hear lots of language while you spend time bonding together! Program lasts about 15-20 minutes, and is for babies ages birth up to 23 months.

    Family Concert with Matt Loosigian

    Matt is a folk singer/guitarist specializing in playful, funny songs about ecology and being green. Join him as he works his musical magic in this interactive and fun music show. Inspired by Matt’s incredibly dynamic voice and charismatic performance style, participants will sing, play, and dance along as this musical wizard pulls giggles out of his guitar. Designed for children, but all ages welcome. Limit first 100 people.

    60 Second Challenge

    Can you get a cookie from your forehead to your mouth without using your hands? What if you only have 60 SECONDS?? Various challenges will be set up around the meeting room, come see what you are capable of in 60 seconds! Drop-in program, designed for families with kids ages 6-12.

    Chewonki presents: Owls of Maine

    Beginning with slides and sounds, participants will learn the identifying characteristics and calls of each owl. Then, using talons, wings, and skulls, we explore the
    adaptations of these silent nocturnal hunters. This program ends with an intimate and detailed look at live owls, bringing these creatures of the night into the light!
    Designed for ages 4 and up, but open to anyone who can sit quietly through a presentation. Limit first 100 people.
