Books on Wheels

books on wheels flyerTopsham library card holders–are you currently without transportation? Caring for sick children and unable toget out?  Nursing a broken leg? Whatever your reason for not being able to get out, we can help! You can have books, audios, or other materials from the Topsham Public Library delivered directly to you!

Here’s how it works:

Call the library at 725-1727 and ask for Cyndi. She will get you set up for the service.  That’s all you have to do.
Whenever you request material through the library, a volunteer will be notified and deliver it to you.  We’ll even return it for you too!

Computer Help

Need help with your computer skills, smartphone, tablet, or eReader? Our tech guy, Dale, is available every Wednesday from 1-3pm! Check our our drop-in programs here!

Reference and Readers Advisory

Our Adult Services Librarian, Emma Gibbon, is available every Friday from 1-3pm for a drop-in service. You can also make an appointment with her by calling the library or emailing emma@topshamlibrary.org. More information about our drop-in programs is here.

Printing

We offer a range of printing services including black and white and color copies, wireless printing and scanning. More details can be found here: Patron Printing and Copying Information.

Employment and Business Entrepreneurship Center

Our Employment and Business Entrepreneurship Center is housed down by the periodicals. It features a special collection of materials focused on small business development, entrepreneurship, job searching, career advice, study guides and college application. Literacy Tutoring

Do you or someone you know need help improving reading, writing or speaking skills? If the answer is “YES”, then let us introduce you to a program available through the Greater Bath and Lincoln County Literacy Volunteers. Trained Literacy volunteers will come to the library to work one-on-one with you to provide the help you need. All tutoring is free and totally confidential. If you are 18 years of age or older and would like more information on this program please call 443-6384 in the Bath area or Toll Free at 1-877-885-7441 from all other areas.
