    Play & Learn

Join Children’s Librarian Mariah and community professionals from local agencies for a fun and interactive playtime in a room full of toys!  The four-week Play and Learn program brings together children and caregivers in a playful and interactive setting.  During the program, caregivers and children spend quality time together playing and participating in art or sensory exploration.  Professionals from local agencies will be on hand to informally chat about topics such as nutrition, play, child development, fitness, behavior, speech, and hearing.  The program emphasizes and supports the role of parents as first teachers, facilitates early intervention, and promotes healthy child development and literacy through modeling and referrals to community resources (plus it’s really fun!!) Ages birth – 5, sign up required (sign up covers all four weeks).
