Email List Policy

The Topsham Public Library provides information to patrons who wish it via email. The type of information that may be sent via email includes:

  1. Information about account status.
  2. Notifications about holds, items coming due or overdue items.
  3. Program information.
  4. Emergency closures or delayed openings.
  5. Information directly pertaining to the library or the Friends of the library, including issues that may affect services provided by the library.

The Topsham Public Library does not sell, rent or share any personal information including email lists to outside individuals or organizations however; patrons may elect to have their email information shared with the Friends of Topsham Public Library. No other organizations will be granted access to the library’s email list nor will the library communicate messages from other organizations through our email list.
