We fill our big meeting room withtoys—kids can play and their grownups can play AND catch up with other grownups!Ages birth to 5, registration required(must have at least 6 signups to run)

Assemble a 3D puzzle, then decorateit! For ages 6 and up (younger childrenmay need help from a grownup). Sign up required.

The other night when many characterswere out of their books, a crime was committed, right in our own library! As aresult, his Majesty Henry VIII – that famous monarch from the English historybooks – has disappeared.  Help us solvethe mystery! In person registration isrequired so that you can choose your character. Costumes are encouraged but notmandatory. Space is limited. Food will be served. Registration opens on July15th and closes on August 6th.Ages 10-16 only 

Beginning with slides and sounds,participants will learn the identifying characteristics and calls of eachowl.  Then, using talons, wings, andskulls, we explore the adaptations of these silent nocturnal hunters. Thisprogram ends with an intimate and detailed look at live owls, bringing thesecreatures of the night into the light! Recommendedages 6 and up, but open to anyone who can sit quietly through a 45 minutepresentation. Limit first 100 people.
